Veggie Tales: Celery Night Fever Review

Got old wounds that just will not let go?  Watch and learn that forgiveness starts with a choice.   This is another great lesson in friendship to teach your kids. Great music with a beat and a little #Veggie Tales humor doesn't hurt.  Check out the Celery Night Fever Review!

Veggie Tales is known for pointing out biblical truths in ways children as well as adults can grasp.  God has been pounding this lesson into our family this week.  From a VBS lesson that used the same verse to a Wednesday night kids lesson I was teaching.  The guest preacher even spoke on it on Sunday. We can all stand to learn a little more about forgiveness from the master.

Ephesians 4:32: Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

About Celery Night Fever:

Watch as Laura Carrot and Junior Asparagus help the once popular Groovy Brothers band members learn how to work out their past differences in order to reunite and put on a concert in efforts to save Celery Park. Enjoy silly songs and old familiar characters as well as our newest character “Bruce Onion” featuring Terry Crews. This up beat and wholesome movie will teach an important lesson that can be carried out throughout your kid’s lifetime.

The Review:

I find that the summer time is when I have to teach my kids again how to behave like godly children because they pick up so much bad during the school year.  This verse has became the verse to learn in our house this summer.  The veggie tales movie, Celery Night Fever, was just another way of giving my kids and idea of what that looked like.  Laura and Junior reminded me of my kids and how quickly their patience and kindness can be drained by spending way too much time with each other.  The Groovy brothers showed me how age old hurts can still hurt and without forgiveness the pain and bitterness can grow.  Forgiveness doesn't make sense in today's world so reminding ourselves that Jesus forgiving us doesn't make sense either, can and often is our motivation for forgiving others. I absolutely loved the music and the seventies costumes.  Another great hit from Veggie Tales.
