BQ Sandwiches

My family loves BQ sandwiches!  Did you know you don't have to buy pulled pork or chicken at the grocery store.  Directions from making your own pulled pork to adding the sauce.  Oh and did I mention it can all be done in the crock pot?

My family loves BBQ I just don't like the price of the pulled pork or BBQ that is made for you at the grocery store. So here is a great recipe so you can make your at home for much cheaper. This is a great recipe to use for your Meal Planning.

Ingredients:

1 chicken breast or pork chop per person to be served. (will give you a couple of left overs)
1 cup Water
1 Bottle of BQ sauce. If more than 3 people you will need a larger bottle or second bottle.

Directions:

In the morning or at least 5 hours before dinner. Place chicken or pork into the crock pot with about a cup of water. Turn on to high heat for about 3 hours. If thawed it will take less time.

Dump water and pull meat apart with a fork. Add BQ sauce and place on Low for 2 hours.

Serve on hamburger buns with cheese, slaw or your favorite BQ condiments.
