Homemade Banana Pudding (no-cook)

This is the banana pudding like my grandma used to make me.   Oh with a secret ingredient that will surprise you but will enhance the flavor.   

When I first moved up north I was introduced to cooked banana pudding, needless to say after you have had the southern version below it just can't compare.


2-3  Banana cut up in slices
1/2 box of Vanilla waffers 
3 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding mix
5 cups of milk
1 container of cool whip (80 oz)
1 small sour cream (8 oz)


With an electric mixer, mix pudding and milk.  Add sour cream and cool whip. Mix well.  In a 9x13 inch pan or layering dish.  Makes layers of wafers,  banana's and pudding continue until ingredients are finished.  You can also break up some vanilla waffers to crush on top or use some cool whip to top it.
