What's more fun than Veggie Tales movie where the characters are wearing Kilts? A Veggie Tales Movie Party.
The Kids and I got gathered our friends to watch "MacLarry & The Stinky Cheese Battle". We got a MacLarry Activity pack and the DVD to review courtesy of Big Idea!
First things First: The Movie
We piled all the kids into the basement to watch "MacLarry and The Stinky Cheese Battle". Behold, The magic of the song, "If you like to talk to tomatoes..." song. Prior to the song?
The Lesson and Review: MacLarry is different from all the other Barber-barian and he wants to fit in. As a kid and an adult we often find that we are different or special and our gifts are not no the same as others. For most people we struggle to find our place or our role in society. The message is very clear that God made us different. The best part is that it tells us it is perfectly OK to be different than others and to have different Gifts. I really appreciated the message because my children choose to act different than other kids. They will not watch inappropriate TV, will not make fun of or bully others to get their way. Their actions will often mean that others children will be mean to them. This video is one that encourages them to stick to their morals.
Here is some of the Activity Pack Goodies we used available on the Veggie Tales Pinterest page!

Romans 12:4-6a: For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.
The MacLarry Activity pack came with lots of fun activities, party invites, popcorn cups. Singalongs for Chog Norrius and We're Barber-barians, Recipes for Snacks and party supplies.
