Everyone knows when you read a book you will find things you do not like about it and things you do. This review is a mix of both.
I loved how much the mother loves her blind child and helps her to experience nature and colors even though she cannot see them. She was a very loving mother to find a way to tell her child about what the colors of a rainbow look and feel like.
However, there is a lot of "mother nature" and "nature is speaking to me" wording. Being a Christian I would not read this to my children because of that aspect.
The illustrations are beautiful water color photos.
The book does support nature and environmental organizations by being printed by Eco Friendly Printer.
