Changing Seasons? Packaways Storage Review

If you like me and have little storage space, spring and fall are a major time of rearranging closets.  One of the hassles is getting storage boxes.   This year I got Packaways!

What are Packaways?   They are made out of Corrugated plastic.  They come in 4 different colors,  Blue, Pink, Green and Translucent.   They have other sizes and styles available.   They have the Classic Packaway (like the ones I ordered),  Under-bed Storage boxes, Totes and more.

My story: The day after my packaways arrived,  I set about unpacking my boxes.   I got two boxes.  One was small (pink) and one was large (green).   They were very easy to open.  I simply pulled them open like you do normal boxes. Instead of having to tape them together, I simply pushed down.  They put a locking tab on the bottom, so my package stayed open.

Me, unpacking the boxes.  It was really easy!

Assembled box!

The first closet I started with was the boys.   There was quite a mess above the closet because of having the clothing that was two large stored there for the next season.   While, I had the boys trying on the clothing I used the boxes as a separating system.  I was able to keep separate the clothing each kid was trying on.
Used the boxes to Sort clothing in the
boxes as we go through closets.
After Packaways!  The green
one was a little larger than
my closet.

Then I went to the girls room.   In the girls room, I had been using multiple sizes of old diaper boxes to store the clothing.  Needless to say these made the space look much nicer.
There is a dry erase label to mark the boxes
for each years storage.

There are other applications, I could think of, to use Packaways for.  I could use them for Toy storage, camping, back of the car storage,  and attic storage.   They would also make great ornament storage.   Since the boxes are made of Plastic and not Cardboard they are much more durable and will not fall apart if they get wet.

They are easy to close too just insert corners in tabs.
I really liked how easy to assemble they were, the multiple uses they have and the dry erase labels.
